Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A newborn girl was found abandoned near a closed tea stall on Thursday night in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh.
Stray dogs were seen roaming near her, and the whole area was silent and dark.

According to information, she was lying helplessly near Pagara Phata, along the Khalghat-Manawar road, under the open sky.
Luckily, her cries were heard by some people living nearby. When they came out and saw the baby surrounded by stray dogs, they quickly chased the dogs away, picked the baby up, and brought warm milk to feed her.
They immediately informed the Dharampuri police. The police reached the spot and sent the baby to the community health center in an ambulance. Doctors there gave her the needed treatment.

A local resident, Mukesh, informed the police about the incident. Upon receiving information, police also arrived at the scene and launched an investigation in the matter.
Locals expressed outrage over the incident and demanded stringent action aganist the perpretrators responsible for abandoning the baby.
CBMO Dr Kirti Bourasi said that the baby girl has been transferred to Dhar District Hospital for further care.
Authorities are working to identify the baby's relatives.
Baby Now Safe and Healthy
Doctors said the girl is about 10 to 15 days old. She is now safe and healthy.
A nurse at the hospital is taking care of her with love, feeding her and holding her like a mother. The scene moved everyone present to tears.
Police have filed a case against unknown parents and are investigating who abandoned the child.
Locals have shown strong anger and demanded strict action against the people responsible for this heartless act.
