MP: Govt College Students Take Voters’ Oath In Jaora

Jaora (Madhya Pradesh): To promote democratic electoral participation among students, various voter awareness activities are being carried out in Bhagat Singh Government Post Graduate College under the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit.

Senior professor Dr Abha Saxena led by NSS officer Prof Sangeeta Jatiya administered the voters’ oath among students to uphold the democratic traditions of our country and the dignity of free, fair and peaceful elections without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community, language or any other inducement.

Dr Sarita Bairwa and Sandeep Malviya also participated. The pledge was undertaken to motivate young voters to exercise their privilege to cast a vote in free and fair elections in a free democratic country.
