Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): At a programme organised by municipal council, MLA Yashpal Singh Sisodia on Saturday performed bhumi pujan of three construction works in ward no 21 of Abhinandan area.
The bhumi pujan was organised at three different places. It included laying CC road worth Rs 7.25 lakh in Tilak Nagar from MLA fund. Bhumi pujan of boundary wall worth Rs 7.02 lakh around Pt Deendayal Upadhyay senior citizens’ building in Abhinandan Nagar and laying paver blocks worth Rs 1.90 lakh in employee colony.
“Wherever there are undeveloped colonies in Abhinandan area and there is no CC road, drain and other basic works, funds will be given from MLA fund. Development works will be completed on priority,” Sisodia said. He said government has implemented norms to legalise 6,000 colonies in the state. Former councillor Vijay Gurjar expressed gratitude towards MLA Sisodia for facilitating development.
