Madhya Pradesh: Thieves make away with jewellery, cash in Sailana village of Mandsaur district

SAILANA (MANDSAUR DISTRICT): Some unidentified thieves targeted resident of Omkar Lal Panchal at Uday Vihar Colony in Sailana village and took away gold and silver jewellery and some cash. Incident took place between 8 pm and midnight on June 15 while Omkar Lal and his family members had gone out of village.

They came to know about theft after they found the lock of main door to be broken. Onkar Lal told Sailana police that he and his family went to Delanpur by car.

On returning they found that items in his house are in disarray and almirahís locker was broken. The thieves also targetted the house of Balaram Jat living in the same colony.

When contacted Sailana police station in-charge Shivmangal Singh Sengar said a complaint has been received and probe is on.
