Bhopal: New cases below 50 in all districts; 25 districts report no fresh cases in last 24 hours

BHOPAL: State has been witnessing a continuous fall in corona caseload and the current active cases number here stands at 3273. The state reported the single day count of 160 taking the tally to 7,88,809. Corona positive rate further dropped to 0.2 per cent.

Single day count of new Corona cases in all districts fell below 50 in the last 24 hours. While 49 out of 52 districts reported less than 5 cases, of these almost 50 per cent did not see a single new case on Wednesday.

No fresh cases were reported in 25 districts including Burhanpur, Bhind, Ashok Nagar, Niwari, Sheopur, Khandwa, Dindori, Harda, Guna, Mandla, Umaria,† Tikamgarh, Chhattarpur, Jhabua, Dewas, Neemuch, Damoh, Singrauli, Balaghat, Anuppur, Katni, Shahdol, Sehore, Narsingpur and Gwalior.†† Their active cases are 1, 1, 33, 25, 24, 7, 14, 17, 14, 13, 12,34,99,11,16,49,5, 24, 13, 13 and 25 respectively.

Except for four districts - Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Ratlam, the active cases number in all the districts is under 100 , while 41 districts reported active cases below 50.

Indore reported 36 corona cases while Bhopal reported 47 corona cases. Jabalpur reported 13 new cases. Indore currently has 561 active cases, Bhopal 1081 and Jabalpur 117.

The toll in the state stands at 8649. Around 463 Covid patients were discharged from hospitals across the state. Around 72,087† samples were sent for testing and 210 samples were rejected.
