Madhya Pradesh: Shopkeepers in Barwani warned to follow unlock norms

BARWANI (MADHYA PRADESH): Collector Shivraj Singh Verma assessed the compliance of the provisions of unlock in the town on Wednesday.

He expressed his gratitude to the shopkeepers for following the rules of opening shops according to odd-even numbers.

A fine of Rs 500 was also imposed on some shopkeepers for violating Covid norms. Shopkeepers were again warned that in case of violation of the provisions of unlock more than once, the shops of the guilty shopkeepers would be sealed for the next 15 days.

Verma inspected the fair price shop in Ward Number 5 on Wednesday. He also inspected the maintained register after getting information about the distribution of free food grains to the beneficiaries.

Verma inspected of Bank of Baroda near Jain Temple Square and instructed the branch manager that it is his responsibility to ensure that bank customers and staff follow the social distancing inside and outside the branch.
