Madhya Pradesh: Party worker’s rape, Congress leader’s son refused bail

Advocate MM Mishra said, “The accused in the case is the son of a Congress leader of Badnagar and the victim is a party worker. The accused has been on the run for the past six months.”

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, on Saturday, rejected the interim bail application of the son of a Badnagar politician who has allegedly raped a party worker in the Bhanwarkuwan area.

Advocate MM Mishra said, “The accused in the case is the son of a Congress leader of Badnagar and the victim is a party worker. The accused has been on the run for the past six months.”

Advocates Manoj Dwivedi and MM Mishra represented the victim in the case, while advocate Amit Sisodiya was the public prosecutor.

According to information, on April 2, 2021, a case was registered at the Bhanwarkuwan police station in which the victim alleged that she was raped by the accused after being promised marriage.
