Madhya Pradesh: Now, AYUSH doctors, staff strike work in rural areas

KUKSHI (DHAR): After the strike of contractual health workers, AYUSH doctors and paramedical staff engaged in the prevention of Covid in Dhar district have also gone on strike to press their two-point demand since Tuesday.

The staff on strike has submitted a memorandum to Kukshi Covid in-charge Virender Singh Baghel, SDM Vivek Kumar, tehsildar Sunil Davar, Civil Hospital BMO Dr Abhishek Rawat, Dr Nitin Patidar.

Dr Deepak Bamania, Dr Arpit Parikh, Dr Sanjay Patidar, Dr Ravindra Patidar, Dr Rahul Soni, Dr Rahul Sirvi, Dr Yogesh Patidar, Dr Bharat Salvi, Dr Valmik Purohit, Dr Ravindra with Paramedical Staff Sheetal Kag, Sunil and others were present.

The memorandum stated that temporary doctors and paramedical staff should be contracted under NHM and should be paid according to same work as the same staff, on the logic of equal pay. All should be regularised by NHM Madhya Pradesh through the District Health Committee for temporary control of Covid 19 epidemic.
