Madhya Pradesh: Farmer in Hatpipliya asks the administration to build helipad in his 'landlocked' farm

Hatpipliya: Failing to reach his agriculture field, Bhairu Singh, son of Prahlad Singh, a farmer from Guradiya Hatu village in Hatpipliya tehsil of Dewas district has asked the administration to build a helipad on his agriculture field to help him access it.

Bhairu Singh, is differently-abled. Narrating his plight he said the roads through which he used to go to the fields have been closed by the neighboring farmers from all sides and now no other option left before him but to access his field by air.

ìThat is why Iíve applied for construction of helipad in my field,î Bhairu Singh.

While applying for the helipad here at the tehsil headquarters, farmer sought the permission of administration to build a helipad on his field and expenses are incurred should also be taken care by the administration. He said helicopter is the only way for him to transport agricultural machines and other equipment ahead of soybean sowing season.

He added that if sowing is not done this year then he will suffer huge loss and will be unable to support the family. Me and my family are mentally disturbed because of not getting justice till now, he said.

In the application, the farmer has also written that if anything untoward happens to us due to lack of justice, then it will be the sole responsibility of the administration.

In the past too, applications have been submitted by the same farmer in Hatpipalya tehsil due to non-availability of way to his farm at the time of gram harvest, but sources claimed that a stay is on in this case.

Whereas the farmer claimed that he has copy from the SDM which sates that there is no stay on the matter.
