Barwani: Ex- home minister of MP, Bala Bachchan levelled serious allegations against the BJP government on Saturday.

He accused the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of fudging data of death due to pandemic on the state government.

Congress MLA from Rajpur Assembly constituency in Barwani district, Bachchan claimed that more than 1,000 people have died due to Covid-19 in the district, but the state government hiding the data.

He also raised questions on the fund of Rs 25 lakh released by Rajya Sabha MP Sumer Singh for installation of oxygen plant.

Bachchan has also sought an answer on the deaths due to corona, he said that the second wave of corona has claimed more than 1,000 lives in the district, but the BJP is hiding the figures.

He said that the true character of BJP has been exposed with its own words and deeds.

Now Congress will collect data at every booth and bring the real number of deaths in the district to the public.

Where is the oxygen plant sanctioned by Sumer Singh?

Taking a dig at BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Sumer Singh, Bachchan asked about the status of Rs 25 lakh sanctioned by Singh for installation of oxygen plant in the district.

Bachchan said that he raised the issue of oxygen plant at the district crisis management committee meeting. Even after 36 days no one has any idea of the status of the oxygen plant, Bachchan added.

Bachchan said that BJP workers across the district torched his effigy, yet he is forced to ask the question--Where is (oxygen) plant?

Congress MLA said, ìI enquired about the oxygent plant with the BJP leaders and the administrative officials including the district collector, yet I did not get any answer.î

ìNow the MP has written to the District Planning Board to cancel the approval for the amount given for the oxygen plant, while the third wave of Corona is at the doorsteps.î

"What will happen when the corona wave strikes again, BJP is needlessly misleading the public?" Bachchan asked.
