Madhya Pradesh: All preparations for third phase polling completed in Dhar

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Collector and district election officer DrPankaj Jain along with the superintendent of police Aditya Pratap Singh informed about the polling to be held in Dhar, Nalchha, Tirla and Sardarpur blocks of the district under the third phase of the three-tier panchayat election.

Top officials visited Digthan of Nalchha block and Narayanpur, Billod, Pipalya, Khandwa and Barmandal village of Sardarpur block and inspected the polling stations there.

Deputy district election officer Neha Shivhare informed that in the third phase, polling will be held on Friday in Dhar, Nalchha, Tirla and Sardarpur of the district.

There are 4,76,569 voters who are eligible to exercise their franchise.

The number of Gram Panchayats is 266. A total of 865 polling stations have been set up across 652 villages. A total of 952 polling teams and 66 sector officers will be involved in the polling. Ten district panchayats and 77 district panchayats, will vote for 252 sarpanchs and 1384 panchs.
