Laadli Laxmi Utsav Celebrated In Jhabua District

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): The district level ‘Ladli Laxmi Utsav’ was held on Friday at Ajeevika Bhawan under Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi Yojana. The event was chaired by Cabinet Minister Nirmala Bhuria and attended by collector Neha Meena.

The scheme aims to promote positive thinking towards birth of girl children, improve sex ratio and enhance education and health of girls. So far, 77,512 girls in the district benefited from the initiative.

In her address, Minister Bhuria encouraged girls to keep their dreams high and work hard to achieve them. She emphasised importance of education and cultural values in life.

Collector Neha Meena urged girls to become financially capable and set goals for their future. During the event, several girls shared their experiences and a self-defence demonstration was conducted. Certificates were distributed to Ladli Laxmi girls as a mark of respect.

Alot (Madhya Pradesh): Women and Child Development Department celebrated Ladli Laxmi Yojana Utsav in Ambedkar Bhawan, Alot. Tree plantation was also conducted afterwards.

Zilla Panchayat president representative Shambhulal Malviya, Zanpad president representative Kalu Singh Parihar, BJP Mandal president Dilip Singh Dodia and others were present.
