Khargone: ‘Making health centres treatment centres our top priority’

Not even 50 pc presence on ‘Sarthak’ app developed for health dept

Khargone (Madhya Pradesh): To turn health centres as treatment centres, Khargone district collector Kumar Purushottam had directed the staff to register their presence from July 1 by creating the ‘Sarthak’ app.

In a review meeting, the presence of health staff on Sarthak App was reviewed and according to the sheet presented by the DPM in the meeting, the total number of community health officers, ANMs and MPWs in the district is 698, out of which only 319 registered their attendance at the scheduled time.

Regarding attendance, collector Kumar said that it has to be given by coming to the office on time. The government has appointed us for basic work. How will the work be done if you are not reaching on time? To all the BMOs who did not register their attendance. Instructions have been given to propose their action.

Collector Kumar while addressing all BMOs of the district connected through VC said that due to minor illnesses, part of the income of the poor gets spent on treatment. Therefore, reforms in the health department are necessary. In the TL meeting, district panchayat CEO Divyank Singh, additional collector JS Baghel, SDM of all sections and district level staff joined via video conference.

91 CHO, 26 MPW, 202 ANMs did not register attendance, The attendance sheet was presented by the DPM in the meeting according to which 91 out of 265 CHOs, 26 out of 52 MPWs and 202 out of 381 ANMs have not registered their presence on Sarthak App till the scheduled time on Monday, July 4. Collector Kumar told all BMOs to register their attendance till 9:30, after which it will be time for action. You guys should monitor and inform while proposing action. Work and treatment will have to be done from 9 am to 5 pm.
