Khargone: Divisional commissioner inspects work of oxygen plant, ICU building

Khargone: Indore divisional commissioner Dr Pankaj Sharma reached Khargone on a day-long visit on Tuesday.

He inspected the work of PSA oxygen plant and the new ICU building being prepared for corona patients in Kasrawad village.

He also took information about works of ponds taken up under MGNREGA in Choti Kasrawad, Ayushman Card work in Ojhra village panchayat and reviewed the data of beneficiaries.

In Khargone, Sharma inspected the arrangements at the district level Covid Command Centre and interacted with a patient on video call. The patient told him that the Covid Command Centre takes regular feedback from him. Collector Anugrah P, district panchayat CEO Gaural Banal and other officers were present.

5 new cases, 1 death in 24 hours

As per the health bulletin issued from the office chief medical and health officer on Tuesday evening, Khargone district reported five cases of corona in the last 24 hours, while 15 corona winners were discharged after recovery. One person died during the last 24 hours. With this total number of active patients in the district reduced to 83, with 32 patients undergoing treatment at the hospital, while remaining 51 are on home isolation.
