Jobat (Madhya Pradesh): Up in arms against the merciless beating up of a tribal student, members of Hindu youth tribal organisation held a strong protest demonstration here in Jobat on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, several members led by state president Dilip Chouhan assembled at SDM office and handed over a memorandum to SDM Devkinandan Singh addressed to the state Home Minister, demanding strict action against culprits and prompt actions against absconding culprits. Members also demanded elaborate security arrangements for other students who are studying in Indore.
The roads of Bilasa village (Jobat tehsil) of Alirajpur district witnessed a huge protest on Monday against the incident. Members of Hindu organisations accompanied by locals marched from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Terminal New Bus Stand to Tehsil office to mark their protest. During this, district president of Hindu Youth Tribal Organisation Roshan Pachaya, state vice president Birbal Dudve and prominent activists of Hindu yuva Tribal organisation were also present.
The trouble irrupted when a tribal student from Alirajpur was allegedly beaten up mercilessly by some Muslims under Tejaji Police jurisdiction in Indore a few day ago.
