Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The operation of the Vistadome coach-equipped Heritage Train is going to restart on July 10. The Railways has disclosed the date on which it is going to start the ticket bookings.
In order to facilitate tourists of the Heritage Train and make the journey attractive and comfortable, an air-conditioned Vistadome coach has already been added to the Heritage Train. Vistadome coaches have large-size window glasses, trailing windows, snack tables and small-size pantry. Clean toilets have also been constructed in the coach for the convenience of tourists. The exterior of the coach is decorated with an attractive PVC sheet.
According to official information, the Railways has decided to restart the operation of the train on July 10. According to schedule, the train No. 52965 Mhow-Kalakund Heritage Train will depart Mhow at 11.05 hours daily from July 10 and reach Kalakund at 13.25 hours via Patalpani (11.13/11.15). Similarly, Train No. 52966 Kalakund-Mhow will depart from Kalakund at 15.34 hours daily from July 10 and reach Mhow at 16.30 hours via Patalpani (16.02/16.04). This train has two AC chair cars (Vistadome coaches) and three non-AC chair cars. The AC chair cars are designated as C1 and C2 and non-AC chair cars as D1, D2 and D3.
For the Heritage Train, separate tickets will have to be booked for both the directions, that is to and fro. Tickets can be booked online or through the reservation centres. Along with the Western Railway’s Ratlam Division, it is the first Heritage Train of Madhya Pradesh.
