Indore: Revenue Inspector suspended over negligence in duty

Following instructions from collector Manish Singh, ADM Pawan Jain issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Revenue inspector Abhay Bhatore has been suspended with immediate effect for being found negligent in the demarcation work.

Following instructions from collector Manish Singh, ADM Pawan Jain issued an order in this regard on Tuesday. Revenue inspector, Sanwer circle, Bhatore had disregarded the orders of his seniors and gross negligence was found in the demarcation work. Cases of demarcation of applicants were also pending for a long time. Demarcation cases of villages under Bhatore’s charge have been pending for more than 6 months and 17 cases have been pending for more than 3 months. In April, Bhatore did not submit a single demarcation case and, in May, only 6 demarcation reports were submitted. The said conduct of Bhatore was found contrary to his official duties.

In view of gross negligence, he has been suspended with immediate effect. During the suspension period, the headquarters office of Bhatore will be the office of the superintendent of land records.
