Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Police have registered a case against two unidentified women for stealing a gold neckless of a woman while traveling in an e-rickshaw in the Annapurna area on Sunday. The police are examining the CCTVs to identify the woman.

Annapurna police station in charge Ajay Nair informed Free Press that a case has been registered against the women on the complaint of Rajubai, a resident of Jabaran Colony. Rajubai informed the police that she and her daughter were going to attend a wedding function in Rajendra Nagar.

They boarded in the e-rickshaw from Juni Indore area to go wedding ceremony destination. When she reached there and checked her bag, she found her neckless missing from the bag. She doubted two women, who alighted near Mhow Naka Square. She later reached the police station and lodged a complaint.

Two detained for duping man of lakhs

Annapurna police station staff detained two persons in connection with a financial fraud of lakhs of rupees with a contractor. Police said that four persons were booked on the complaint of the contractor.

He was told that the company in Maharashtra buys antique items in higher price and the complainant was lured to work for company to identify the antique things. The police said the suspects are being questioned further.
