Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) collected over Rs 1,086.92 crore in revenue in the financial year 2025-26, marking an increase of more than Rs 155 crore compared to Rs 932 crore in the previous year.

Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav and Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal said the rise reflects strong public participation, attributing the achievement to the cooperation of taxpayers across the city.

Bhargav said residents of Indore have set benchmarks not only in cleanliness but also in fulfilling their tax responsibilities.

Civic officials said such participation strengthens the financial position of the IMC and supports ongoing urban development initiatives.
