Indore (Madhya Pradesh): India’s cleanest city for eight consecutive years is set to host the country’s largest carbon-neutral engineering event Cool Conclave 2.0 from July 31 to August 2 at Sheraton Grand Palace. Organised by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), the three-day conclave will focus on driving decarbonisation in the HVAC&R and built environment sectors.
With over 1,400 participants, 90 expert speakers and 200+ B2B interactions, the event positions Indore as a national hub for climate-forward innovation. The conclave will also include exclusive decarbonisation awards, cultural nights and motivational sessions, emphasising both thought leadership and community engagement.
The event will follow a strict carbon-neutral protocol by auditing energy use, travel emissions, food waste and apparel impact. “We are not just discussing sustainability; we’re practicing it at every level,” said Cool Conclave chairperson Pankaj Dharkar.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav is expected to inaugurate the event, with key participation from union and state ministers throughout. The conclave’s broader mission aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Net Zero vision, offering a platform to showcase smart buildings, low-carbon cooling, and future-ready refrigerant technologies.
Indore’s choice as the host city reinforces its leadership in both cleanliness and climate responsibility.
