Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Indian Institute of Management Indore has signed an MoU with Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).

The MoU was signed by IIM Indore director professor Himanshu Rai and TU Dublin president professor David FitzPatrick. This association aims at developing joint activities in academic areas of mutual interest.

Sharing details of this collaboration, Rai said the MoU would offer a platform for exchanging faculty, researchers and administrative staff and give opportunities for collaborative research.

“I’m happy to sign an MoU with the first technological university of Ireland—TU Dublin. IIM Indore aims at creating socially conscious leaders, managers and entrepreneurs, and TU Dublin emphasises creating an inclusive and open learning experience for students. This collaboration will be valuable for the faculty, students and staff of both the educational institutes, allowing them to come together, learn and collaborate on various activities,” Rai said.

Rai added that these would include conducting lectures, organising symposiums, exchanging academic material and developing and delivering programmes of study and online learning for the global audience.

FitzPatrick noted that the alliance would further fortify the relationship between the institutions and empower them to organise mutually beneficial events across various activities.

“We’re pleased to sign an MoU with IIM Indore—the second IIM in India to receive the Triple Crown. Conducting multiple lectures, seminars, workshops and so forth online and offline will allow the stakeholders of both the institutes to learn from—and grow with—this partnership. We look forward to organising various events and activities that prove fruitful for both the parties,” he said.

The MoU will be valid for three years.
