Indore: Foodies can now satiate taste buds at 56 Dukaan site

Indore: Come Saturday, Chhappan Dukan fortunes are expected to bounce back. The foodies can eat, slurp and burp at the site provided they follow the safety protocol.Collector and District Magistrate Manish Singh released an order late on Friday to this effect. Following the outbreak of the Novel Corona Virus, Chhapan Dukan shoppers had downed their shutters between March 25 and June 30. Later, from July 13 July, permission for ‘takeaways’ and ‘home deliveries’ were given. Now as per the order, shops will remain open between 6 am and 8 pm. Visitors and shoppers both have to wear masks and shop owners will have to carry out proper sanitization of the place.

Before issuing the order, Collector Singh inspected the area and assessed the ground reality. He also heard the suggestion of the shop keepers, who were keen on reopening their establishments and also urged the authorities to provide parking facilities to the visitors.Singh had assured to resolve their problems soon.
