Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The war of attrition between Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Dinesh Waskel and a section of the forest employees appears unending; the latest being social media messages alleging that Waskel, who is Park Superintendent at Ralamandal, was holding a private alcohol party in the buffer zone of Ralamandal on Saturday night.
Nonetheless, CCF HS Mohanta, who visited Ralamandal late on Saturday night to verify the claims, rubbished the allegation.
“Nothing objectionable was found there. Watchmen were on duty and Dinesh Waskel, ACF was at his residence,” CCF HS Mohanta said.
“Based on the complaint received over the phone, that 10 people were partying in the buffer zone, I personally went there at around 11 pm for night patrolling,” he said. According to reports, the CCF asked Bharat, the driver of his vehicle, to take the vehicle inside to the residence of the Vaskele and found him at his residence.
Residence issue
ACF Dinesh Vaskle has made his residence in the buffer zone which used to be a wireless room. According to the rules, even the ACF is not allowed to stay there.
On this CCF Mohanta said, “Yes. He has been staying there as the residence of the Park Supdt is not vacant. That’s a make-shift arrangement. The residence should be vacated by the occupant by end of December.”
