Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh): A car ran over three persons, including an 11-year-old boy and injured three others in Vidisha district, police said on Sunday.
According to reports, incident occurred when six persons who had been injured after two bikes collided head on were sitting by the Karmedi-Bhannakhedi roadside on Saturday.
The incident spot is about 60 kilometres from the district headquarters, Shamshabad police station in charge Pankaj Geete said.
“A car rammed into them, killing three on the spot, injuring as many. The deceased included an 11-year-old boy, and two persons aged 32-40. Two seriously injured persons have been shifted to Bhopal," Geete said.
The vehicle sped from the spot and efforts were on to trace it and nab the driver, the official said.
