Indore (Madhya Pradesh): For the first time, 32 elderly people will be taken on a pilgrimage to Shirdi by flight on Tuesday under the Mukhyamantri Thirth Darshan Yojna from the city’s airport.
The pilgrims, in the age group of 65 years to 76 years, will depart for Shirdi by regular flight at 12.25 pm. Along with these passengers, deputy collector Agar Malwa Sarvesh Yadav will also go as an escort. Travel arrangements, stay, food etc. is free for the pilgrims.
Till now, passengers were taken to pilgrimages by rail under this scheme, but now they are also being taken by flight.
