Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The 16th edition of IEEE International Conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies (ICCCNT) commenced at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore on July 06, 2025.

The event was inaugurated by Prof. Suhas S. Joshi, Director of IIT Indore, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Organised under the leadership of Prof. Surya Prakash (Conference Chair, IIT Indore), Prof. Prakash Duraisamy (Conference Co-Chair, University of Wisconsin, USA), ICCCNT 2025 has attracted participation from a wide array of countries, showcasing a diversity of thought and innovation.

Experts from premier institutions and organisations, including NASA, IIT Indore, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kanpur, are among the key contributors.

This six-day hybrid event brings together leading minds from academia, industry, and research institutions worldwide to explore the frontiers of technological innovation.

This year’s conference marks a historic milestone on multiple fronts:

Over 10,000 paper submissions, making ICCCNT 2025 the largest STEM conference in Asia

Submissions from 99 countries, the highest number of participating nations in the conference’s history

9% of submissions (around 900 papers) from international contributors, reflecting its growing global footprint

First-ever industry exhibition, introducing a new dimension of academia-industry collaboration

Prof. Joshi said “We are very excited to host this conference which features keynote addresses, technical paper presentations, plenary sessions, and panel discussions led by distinguished experts. Topics span across AI, IoT, cybersecurity, wireless systems, 6G, and smart computing, reflecting the breadth and depth of current research and development. These sessions are tailored for students, researchers, and professionals eager to deepen their expertise in high-impact areas.”

Prof. Surya Prakash said “Throughout the week, panel discussions will address pressing global issues—from sustainable smart infrastructure to the ethics of data-driven innovation—bridging the gap between theoretical research and real-world application.

A major highlight of this year’s edition is the industry exhibition, being held for the first time in ICCCNT’s history. The exhibition features leading public and private sector organizations showcasing transformative products, technologies, and innovations. Attendees can explore interactive demos, product launches, and live sessions, fostering direct engagement between academia and industry.”

Prof. Prakash Duraisamy said ““ICCCNT is more than a conference—it’s a catalyst for future-ready innovation. It’s unique blend of academic rigor and industry relevance makes it a vital forum for shaping tomorrow’s technologies.”

The conference is organized in academic collaboration with Oriental University, Indore and technically co-sponsored by IEEE Electronics Packaging Society (EPS) and IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS).
