Guna (Madhya Pradesh): Former state minister Jaivardhan Singh launched a fresh salvo at Rajya Sabha MP and BJP senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia during his visit here on Tuesday.
“Eversince Scindia ji has gone to BJP, factionalism has deepened there,” said Singh, the Congress MLA from Raghogarh assembly constituency while addressing media persons during his visit here on Monday.
Singh said Scindia should worry about his future as he had an important place in Congress. “But now, where is he in BJP?” he questioned.
In March 2020, Jyotiraditya Scindia, a former Union minister, quit the Congress and joined the BJP along with 22 Congress MLAs leading to downfall of Kamal Nath government in the state. The rebel MLAs who joined BJP included six ministers.
“Scindia ji's ministers always had a dispute with leaders and workers. Now they sit on his heads. There is dispute between workers of the RSS and the former. The people of BJP and Sangh are upset with this,” Singh said.
Singh said Home Minister Narottam Narottam Mishra objected to approval of an amount by the cabinet rececntly. “This is a serious matter, other departments will also demand amount like this. It is wrong tradition that chief minister of the state neglects his senior ministers,” he added.
Singh also visited the hospital where nurses submitted a memorandum to press for their demands.
