Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore Police's unique style to manage traffic and spread awareness about the rules left the commuters amazed! A 'gorilla' was seen guiding the vehicles at Palasia Square on Sunday.
A video of the scene has surfaced on social media, showing the gorilla dancing, stopping vehicles, interacting with commuters and mimicking gorilla movements on the road.

The unusual sight surprised people as the gorilla stepped onto the busy road and used hand signals to stop vehicles.
It also stopped motorists coming from the wrong side and asked them to move back and follow the correct route.
Indore Campaign
The campaign, organised by the Indore Police Commissionerate, mainly focused on wrong-side driving and stopping vehicles at zebra crossings.
The gorilla was seen asking motorists to stop behind the stop line and keep the zebra crossing clear.
The character also helped elderly people and other pedestrians cross the road safely by stopping vehicles while they crossed.
During the campaign, two-wheeler riders were reminded to wear helmets, while car drivers were asked to wear seat belts.
Additional DCP Crime Rajesh Dandotiya, traffic police officials and NCC cadets were also present during the campaign.
The unusual campaign attracted attention from commuters and sent a simple message — avoid rushing on the roads and follow traffic rules to stay safe.
Indore’s Unique Traffic Campaigns
Indore has often used creative ways to make people pay attention to traffic rules. The city first gained national attention for Ranjeet Singh, its famous dancing traffic cop, known for using Michael Jackson-style moonwalk moves while managing traffic.
Later, Shubhi Jain, popularly known as the “Dancing Traffic Girl” and “Lady Singham,” drew attention with her dance moves and dramatic style while spreading road-safety awareness.
Now, the gorilla campaign at Palasia Square has added another unique chapter to Indore's traffic awareness efforts.
