Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Collector Dr Pankaj Jain chaired a review meeting of time limit papers at the Collectorate's Auditorium on Monday. During this, he guided officials to ensure all the necessary facilities at the polling booth in the context of the monsoon. He ordered that there should be no water dripping from the roof of polling stations and proper arrangements should be in place to ensure cleanliness.

He directed that from July 1, a ban has been imposed on the manufacture, import, storage, distribution, sale and use of polystyrene and expanded polystyrene items. All the respective SDMs were guided to take action against anyone found manufacturing items like ice cream sticks, polystyrene (thermocol) decoration material, plastic plates, cups, glasses, and others.

Similarly, the PHE department was instructed to make sure that the road is not damaged by JCB during any repair or construction work. He also guided that the soil from the site of Amrit Sarovar should be used for construction. Simultaneously, efforts must be made to speed up sections where progress in eKYC is lagging behind. Along with this, the district officers should promote planting in their respective office premises and field areas.

On this occasion, officials including chief executive officer, district panchayat KL Meena, and additional collector Shringaar Srivastava were also present.
