Khategaon (Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh): District collector Chandramauli Shukla has transferred Khategaon sub-divisional magistrate Santosh Tiwari after food inspector Priyanka Agrawal posted in Khategaon tehsil levelled serious allegations against him.
Agrawal lodged complaint directly to the district collector accusing Tiwari of sending obscene messages to her on WhatsApp and also pressuring her to allow him to visit her place after duty hours.
Taking cognisance, collector on Thursday transferred Tiwari and handed over Khategaon charge to Trilochan Gaud. Agrawal told reporters in Khategaon on Thursday that for past few days, Tiwari was sending obscene messages to her on WhatsApp.
“When he told me that he will come to my house late at night, I got scared. I called my husband on phone and he reached here from Indore at 1 am. After that, we complained about it to district collector. I want stern action to be taken against Tiwari,” she said.
Complainant added that she had call recording and WhatsApp chat screenshots of his obscene messages, which she passed on to the authority.
Agrawal added that Tiwari tried to touch her inappropriately and she had evidences in CCTV footages but he got the entire data deleted in the name of maintenance of CCTV.
She said she has hard drive and is taking help of experts to retrieve the data to provide further evidences of Tiwari’s act.However, SDM Santosh Tiwari has rubbished all the allegations levelled against him. “It’s a conspiracy against me. I didn't even know it till few days ago. Apart from my office, there are many women employees working in other departments. If my behaviour towards someone was inappropriate, then at some point of time, these things would have come out,” Tiwari said.
“She had made similar baseless allegations against an officer at her pervious place of posting too. In last few days, some irregularities were found during investigation. This is purely blackmailing. If there is fair investigation, truth will surface,” Tiwari added.
