BHOPAL: The Kolar police have booked an unidentified miscreant who made obscene videos of a woman and shared it to her family.
The 24-year-old victim is married and lives in Priyanka Nagar area of Kolar. She told police that she had met the accused Rajkumar Ahirwar while she was working for some online assignment in January this year.
She told police that the accused took her in confidence and started chatting with her after he had promised her better income prospects with him.
The accused cunningly clicked her obscene images and made videos during their virtual conversation.
Later, he began to force her to meet him and marry him. The woman refused his demands and resisted his advances after which he started threatening her.
The accused also told that he will circulate her obscene clips, she told. The woman on Sunday received her own obscene videos on her mobile phone from the man.
She informed her husband about it. Later, she got flooded with calls of her relatives who informed her about similar videos they had received.
The woman reached Kolar police station on Wednesday evening and lodged a complaint. Police have booked the accused under the relevant Sections of IT Act.
The accused is a resident of Panna district and his mobile phone now switched off and a hunt is on to nab him, said Kolar SHO Chandrakant Patel.
