Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh): State Congress Committee president and former CM Kamal Nath visited Burhanpur on Sunday. He addressed a gathering in support of the Congress candidate Shahnaz Ismail Ansari for the post of mayor and 48 other councillors at the local Gulmohar Market.
During his speech, CM Shivraj Singh remained on his target. Kamal Nath said that the present CM believes in television rather than vision. A negative identity of the state has spread in the country under the BJP government and added that the state receives almost zero investments from outside due to trust issues.
He was also critical of CM Shivraj's statement that Congress has not done any development in the past 70 years and said that Asaduddin Owaisi was running a campaign to benefit BJP in the state.
He raised local problems too. He alleged that there are no proper facilities for hospitals and medicines and for the past 15 years, there has been rampant corruption in governance.
