Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): A 12-foot python crawled into a police jeep during night patrol in Madhya Pradesh's Bhanpura town of Mandsaur district.
The incident happened on Sunday midnight. It is believed that the snake coiled under the jeep to take shelter amid the heavy rainfall.
According to information, the Dial-100 police team was doing their regular night patrol near Bade Mahadev temple area. While they were driving, the large python somehow entered their vehicle without anyone noticing at first.
When the driver realised there was a snake inside the jeep, he quickly stopped the vehicle. The police officers, including Constable Bhagat Singh Jadoun, who was on duty immediately got out of the car for their safety.
Fortunately, the python did not attack or harm anyone. It calmly came out of the police vehicle on its own and moved toward the nearby forest area. The whole incident was recorded on video, which later went viral on social media.
According to Bhanpura police officials, the python was about 12 feet long.
Snake on Bullet
In the recent incident, a Russell's Viper hid under the fuel tank of a bullet while a BA student was riding the bike in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar district. The youth strolled on his bike for 2 hours and was not aware about the snake's existence.
Following minor snag in his vehicle he went to a garage. As the bike mechanic lifted the cover on the vehicles petrol tank, he discovered a poisonous Russell's Viper snake crawled up under the snake.
Such incidents are common during rainy season when snakes come out looking for shelter and food.
