WATCH: PM Modi lays foundation stone, dedicates development works at Gujarat's Modhera

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays the foundation stone and dedicates development works at Modhera, Gujarat

PM Modi on Sunday reached Ahmedabad to inaugurate multiple projects and to take part in various programmes in Modhera village in the Mehsana district of Gujarat.

The prime minister is on a 3-day visit to his hometown where he is set to launch various projects worth more than Rs 14,600 crore in the state.

Beginning his programme from Modhera, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects worth about Rs 3,900 crore in the village.

This project, which is the first of its kind, is the PM's vision of solarization of the sun-temple town of Modhera.

He will also lay the foundation stone of multiple projects that include four laning of a section of NH-68 from Patan to Gozariya, new automated milk powder plant, and UHT milk carton plant at Dudhsagar Dairy. After the public function, the Modi will perform Darshan and Pooja at Modheshwari Mata Temple.

On Monday, the prime minister will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of projects worth over eight thousand crore rupees in Amod, Bharuch.

In yet another step to make India Aatmanirbhar in the pharmaceutical sector, he will lay the foundation stone of Bulk Drug Park at Jambusar.

In Ahmedabad, he will inaugurate Phase one of Modi Shaikshanik Sankul, an educational complex for needy students. The project will help provide facilities to students for holistic development.

On Tuesday, Modi will dedicate and lay the foundation stones of various healthcare facilities around 1,300 crore rupees in Civil Hospital Asarwa, Ahmedabad.

In Jamnagar, the prime minister will dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of projects worth over 1460 crore rupees. These projects are related to irrigation, power, water supply, and urban infrastructure.
