Vaiko stages protest against Rajapaksa’s visit

New Delhi:  MDMK leader Vaiko and his supporters holding black flags Monday staged a protest here against Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s visit for the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi.

The MDMK, an ally of the BJP, staged protest at Jantar Mantar in the heart of city.

“We have come to Delhi to protest the arrival of the Butcher of Tamils,” Vaiko said.

Rajapaksa arrived here for the ceremony Monday.
