Mainpuri (UP): A 60-year-old woman suffered a heart attack and lay untreated for nearly 15 minutes in the emergency ward of Mainpuri District Hospital, ultimately losing her life. Her family alleged that the on-duty doctor, Dr Adarsh Sengar, wasted critical time by watching videos on his mobile phone instead of attending to the patient.
The woman, identified as Pravesh Kumari, was brought to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Her family claimed that instead of personally examining her, Dr Sengar instructed a nurse to handle the situation, according to reports.
Doctor Ignored Repeated Pleas
Despite repeated requests from the patient’s relatives, the doctor allegedly remained glued to his phone, watching reels. When Kumari’s condition worsened and her son protested, Sengar reportedly slapped him, causing chaos in the hospital. Police were called in to control the situation.

A video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage.
