Jhansi: A shocking video has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi. The video, shows two bullies brutally thrashing a young man with sticks in a ground. The video shows, the victim falling on the ground after the attack and despite this the beating continues. He also tries to get up and defend himself but can be seen overpowered by the attackers. Some of the bystanders can be seen running away watching the man being mercilessly beaten, while some can be seen standing and watching. The incident took place at the Cathedral College Ground.

The reason for the dispute is yet to known. Notably, the video is said to 12 days old, a case has been filed in the matter.

Police Reaction:

Jhansi police has responded to the viral video on micro-blogging website X. "The case is about 12 days old, in relation to which a case has been registered in the Premnagar police station under relevant sections on the basis of the plaintiff's complaint. Further necessary action is underway," Jhansi police's official X account said reacting to the video.
