Taking the government's reply on record, the division bench of Justice Indrajit Singh and Justice VK Bharwani, orders the next hearing of the case in February 10th.
Notably, the draft of the proposed bill, The Rajasthan Coaching Centre (Control and Regulation) Bill, 2024, has been ready for the last two years and the government had sought feedback on the draft legislation by uploading the draft on the website in July last year.

The proposed legislation has the provisions of regulating coaching institutes by introducing measures such as mandatory mental health counselling, limits on class hours, and stricter age restrictions for enrollment.
Six coaching students have committed subside in Kota in January 2025 itself and the coaching industry of the city is stressed after these incidents as there was already a decline of around 30–40 percent in the student enrollment in the coaching centers of Kota during the last couple of years.
