The increased activities of former CM of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje is making headlines. Her recent meeting with PM Narendra Modi in Delhi and before this, brief interactions in Jaipur have made speculations on rife about his political revival in the party.
Vasundhara Raje's meeting with PM Modi took place after a long time. Both the leaders were last seen together during the public meetings of assembly election campaign of Rajasthan.
As per sources, this one-to-one meeting lasted for about half an hour and what made the speculations on rife was a social media post of BJP's state incharge Radha Mohandas Agarwal who while sharing the picture of this meeting congratulated Raje. Aggarwal wrote, 'many best wishes and congratulations Vasundhara ji,' however there was no reference of this goodwill message, and he has not clarified it until now.
This social media post on X a couple of days ago has led to speculations in political circles of the state of whether Raje is going to get some special assignment in the party or in the state?
Before this meeting, Raje had brief interactions as well with PM Modi during his two visits to Jaipur this month and just after she got the time to meet the PM in Delhi.
The sources in the party said that these recent developments are significant. ' Although no one can predict what party high command has planned for Raje but these meetings hints towards a change of attitude of the party high command for Raje and if it is so, then something big can be expected for the former CM,' said a senior leader of the party on anonymity.
Raje is not only meeting with senior leaders of the party but showing interest in party activists as well. She was seen in the party membership drive meeting of the state BJP recently. Along with this, she is also keeping touch with public. She reached the hospital to meet with the families of the victims of the LPG tanker blast incident in Jaipur on Monday.
