Rajasthan: Five Arrested For Alleged Blackmail, Forced Religious Conversion Of Schoolgirls In Beawar

The arrests have been done on the FIR lodged by parents of three victims. The parents in their report have named the culprits and alleged that a gang of 10 -15 youths has photos and videos of minor girls along with our daughters, which are being used to blackmail them.

Five youths have been arrested, and two minors detained for alleged blackmailing of school girls and pressing them to recite Kalma, keep fasts, and embrace Islam. The incident has happened in Bijaynagar town of Beawar, Rajasthan. 

The arrests have been done on the FIR lodged by parents of three victims. The parents in their report have named the culprits and alleged that a gang of 10 -15 youths has photos and videos of minor girls along with our daughters, which are being used to blackmail them. 

The parents have alleged that the gang members have trapped our daughters by luring them with mobile phones. The girls were threaten to meet and forced to make physical relations, go to cafes, wear clothes of their choice and do religious activities. 

The victims were made false promises of erasing the explicit material if they introduced them to other girls. The accused threatened and pushed the girls to meet with them. 

“We learned that the girls were forced to introduce each other’s friends for physical exploitation by the accused. We discovered that the girls have identical phones when we got in touch with the families of their friends. Likewise, they have experienced similar ordeal," said the parents in the report. 

Police station in-charge Karan Singh said that three cases have been registered in this case and five youths Rihan Mohammad (20), Sohail Mansuri (19), Lukman alias Soheb (20), Armaan Pathan (19) and Sahil Qureshi (19) have been arrested while 2 minors have been detained. The investigation is going on.
