Kolkata: During investigation, Kolkata Police’s Special Task Force (STF) found that linkman Rahul Sen of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) has offices in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

According to STF sources, Rahul had planned to plant more terrorists in Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh and also used to give money to the terrorists through Hundi from Delhi and UP offices.

“STF team had already visited the UP and Delhi offices. There was a plan of big terrorism. Search is going on for more linkmen and terrorists,” stated the STF sources.

Notably, on July 15, Lalu Sen alias Rahul Sen alias Rahul Kumar, the linkman of the JMB terrorist was arrested from his residence at North 24 Parganas.

The sources of STF had earlier mentioned that few documents along with laptops, mobiles and two i-pads were recovered from Rahul who is said to be a close associate of Naziur Rehman who was arrested a couple of days back.

The STF sources also confirmed that Rahul used to provide such terrorists with fake Indian documents.

It can be recalled that last Sunday three JMB terrorists were arrested by STF. According to a senior police officer the three suspected terrorists Rabiul Islam, Mekhail Khan and Naziur Rahman used to sell fruits at South Kolkata’s Haridevpur area and used to stay in a middle-class society.

Meanwhile, another JMB linkman Seikh Munshi still remains absconding.
