New Delhi: An incident that has raised concerns over civic sense has recently come to light. A man in Delhi was confronted by another individual for allowing his son to urinate on the railway tracks at a Metro station.
A fellow passenger recorded a video of the man permitting his child to relieve himself on the tracks at Inderlok station. The footage has since gone viral on social media.
The video shows a young boy urinating on the Metro tracks while his father stands beside him, holding his hand and watching. The person recording the video says, “Inhe koi sharam nahi aa rahi. Public space mein, Inderlok metro station par, inke bachche ko susu karwa rahe hain,” which roughly translates as: "Look at this man; he is letting his child urinate here at Inderlok Metro Station. These are shameless people. It is a public space. These are some of the most uncivilised people in India.”
The video also shows the father being approached by another man, presumably a Delhi Metro staff member, who questions him about his son’s actions.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is yet to respond to the viral video.
