A horrifying CCTV footage has emerged from Gujarat’s Rajkot, showing a stray bull brutally attacking a youth and leaving him severely injured.
According to reports, the incident occurred in Veraval village of Kotda Sangani taluka on Monday around 12:40 pm, when an Activa rider was attacked by a stray bull in a narrow lane of Shivnagar.
The footage shows the scooter rider slowing down as he approaches the bull in the lane. He comes to a halt when the animal stands directly in his path. Suddenly, the bull topples the scooter and begins attacking the youth. As a result, he falls to the ground near his vehicle. The bull repeatedly rams him with its head and kicks him with its hind legs.
Seeing the assault, locals rush to help and begin throwing objects and pouring water on the animal in an attempt to drive it away. Meanwhile, another bull arrives at the scene but does not join the attack.
Despite efforts to shoo it away, the bull continues its assault as people throw stones and water at it, but to no avail. At one point, a boy tries to drag the youth to safety but runs away after the bull appears to charge at him.
Later, a man starts beating the bull with a stick. Even then, the animal does not stop attacking, despite the youth lying unconscious and seriously injured. More people join in and hit the bull with sticks. Finally, after a man lands strong blows on the bull’s head, it retreats and runs away.
The injured youth was then rushed to a hospital for treatment. The incident has raised concerns among locals over the growing menace of stray animals.
