High Voltage Drama: Wine Shop Salesmen Brutally Thrash Youth With Plastic Pipe In UP's Hapur

Hapur: Two salesmen working at a wine shop in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur, dragged a young man inside the liquor shop, who had come to buy liquor, and brutally thrashed him with kicks, punches, and a plastic pipe. A video of this incident has surfaced and is going viral on social media. The incident occurred on 8 August at around 21:45.

The footage shows the man standing on the other side of the counter when an altercation breaks out between the two salesmen and the customer. The altercation soon turns violent, and the two salesmen rush outside, drag the man inside the shop, and brutally assault him with kicks, punches and a plastic pipe. The man can be seen lying on the floor as the two men continue to assault him.

Other customers can be seen watching the high-voltage drama from outside the counter. The two men are then visibly seen talking to a customer waiting outside before allowing the young man to leave.

Police Action

Police said a formal complaint has not been received in the matter. If the youth gives a complaint, a report will be filed against the salesmen. The police is investigating the matter and is trying to identify the accused on the basis of the viral video.
