Raipur: Partha Mazumder took over as the Regional Executive Director for National Thermal Power Corporation’s Coal Mining Division. He was earlier Executive Director and was elevated to the post of Regional Executive Director on Wednesday, said a press statement issued by NTPC.
Partha will head the Coal Mining Division of NTPC and look after all the coal mining projects located in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha .
He is a mechanical engineer from Jadavpur University, and an alumni of XLRI has reached this position in 36th year of his career.
He worked in NTPC projects in Korba (Chhattisgarh), Farakka , Eastern Region-I Headquarter, Patna before joining the Coal Mining Group at Noida, said the release.
