Kochi: A 1500-year-old Bronze ornament, worn around the deity’s head, has been stolen from the Thirunettoor Mahadeva temple, police said.

The theft took place early yesterday and came to light when a temple employee arrived for rituals.

Due to this, the thieves could not get their hand at other valuables and left the place with the ‘prabha mandalam’ ornament, police said.
