Noida: A massive fire broke out on Wednesday at a furniture warehouse in MPV Tower in Sector 73 of Noida.
Upon receiving the information, a team from the fire department rushed to the spot and doused the fire. Visuals from the scene have surfaced, showing smoke billowing out of the affected floor. The cause of the fire is yet to be known. No loss of life or injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities said the news of people being trapped were misleading.
"Around 12:15, we received information about a fire breaking out on the upper floor of the MPV Tower, and it was reported that some people were trapped... The fire has been completely extinguished. The information about people being trapped in the fire was misleading; no one was trapped. The cause of the fire is being investigated... There are no reports of any loss of life or injuries," : Noida's Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar was qouted saying news agency ANI.
Another Incident
Another fire incident was reported from Noida on Tuesday, this time at a flat on the fourth floor of a five-storey building in Global Homes, Sector 73.
Videos form the spot show thick plumes of grey smoke rising from the building's terrace, creating panic among residents. According to a preliminary probe, the fire is believed to have been caused by a battery blast, which subsequently led to a gas cylinder catching fire.

Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life have been reported in the incident.
