Maryam Faisal has become the fifth Pakistani social media influencer to fall victim to a private video leak. The young TikToker has joined a list of social media personalities after Kanwal Aftab, Minahil Malik, Mathira and Imsha Rehman to face criticism for the alleged video.
Maryan has also deactivated her official Instagram account after receiving hate, following the the MMS leak scandal. In the alleged now-viral video, Maryam is seen getting intimate with a man.
The TikToker has not reacted to the controversy yet, however, several social media users have claimed that the leaked video is indeed of Maryam.
Who is Maryam Faisal?
Maryam, a prominent social media personality from Pakistan, boasts an impressive following of over 6,00,000 on TikTok, with her videos amassing more than a million likes. On her TikTok account (@maryamfaisal100), Maryan shares dance videos and lip-sync clips. Sometimes, she also posts relatable lifestyle content.
As per her bio on TikToker, Maryam is a fan of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. She also calls herself a 'lame hopeless romantic'.
Last week, a Lahore-based influencer named Kanwal Aftab found herself the victim of an alleged breach of privacy after her obscene videos were leaked online.
This troubling trend first surfaced in October 2024 with TikTok star Minahil Malik, following the circulation of an alleged private video on social media. However, Minahil later clarified that the MMS was fake and the individual in the video was not her.
Last month, Mathira also clarified that her viral video was AI-generated. On the other hand, TikTokers Imsha Rehmaan and Minahil Malik deactivated their social media accounts after facing a similar situation.
It is not immediately clear how her alleged private videos were leaked online.
