Actress and social media sensation Uorfi Javed dropped yet another video on Tuesday, showing off her swollen face unapologetically on camera, days after she underwent a medical procedure to get her lip fillers dissolved. She also took a dig at those who trolled her and made fun of her previous video, and some netizens lauded her "guts" to show this side of her life on social media.
In the video, Uorfi can be seen going about her usual day, albeit with her swollen face. Her sister can also be heard poking fun at her in the background, and the actress took it in her stride, and was seen laughing herself. Her sister even asked her on video, "Tum kuch bol paa rahi ho?", to which Uorfi replied, "Haan!"
Unfazed by all the trolling and negativity, Uorfi shared the video on her Instagram handle and captioned it: "I love my new face , anyone who says otherwise, doesn’t understand beauty! (sic)."
Within minutes, the video received thousands of likes and views, with netizens appreciating her for showing this side of the glamour world and called her "gutsy".
"Whatever you say, you need courage to face everyone like this (sic)," a user commented, while another wrote, "I just need this confidence in life (sic)."
For those unversed, Uorfi took to her Instagram handle on Sunday and revealed that she has decided to get her lip filler dissolved after nine years. "I decided to get my fillers dissolved as they were every misplaced. I will get them again but naturally. I’m not saying no to fillers at all. Dissolving is painful. Also it’s very very important you go to a good doctor for fillers, all these doctors with fancy clinics know nothing (sic)," she wrote.
In the video, her face was seen going from normal to extremely swollen and red within minutes of the cosmetic surgeon pricking needles in her lips as part of the painful procedure.
On the work front, Uorfi was last seen in the reality show, The Traitors, in which she emerged to be the winner with Nikita Luther. The duo together took home a prize money of Rs 70 lakh.
