Soon after, the actress faced misogynistic trolling, including remarks about her 'body count,' a term referring to the number of sexual partners a person has had.

While Elli is yet to react, Uorfi Javed defended her on social media. On Tuesday (July 15), she took to her Instagram story, re-posting an image that talked about "how the world can't stop obsessing over Elli's body count, giving warnings to Ashish." In response, Uorfi wrote, "The world is so so brutal to woman, just a girl absolutely minding her business, she ain't even controversial like me but guess what no hate to the man People love to villainize and hate women that's how they feel superior."

Amid the trolling, earlier, Elli took to her Instagram Story to share a DM she received. "Your sexiest body part is your mind," it read. She added, "True story," along with the screenshot.
Ashish and Elli were first spotted together at the Elle List event in February 2025, where they walked the red carpet side by side, with Elli holding onto Ashish’s arm.
While their recent cosy photo has sparked dating rumours, the couple has yet to respond to the growing buzz surrounding their relationship.
